Does anyone else realize that the budget bickering is over maybe 1% of the total?

Cuts from $30 billion to $65 billion range from 0.8 - 1.8% of the total. If a house's monthly expenses was $1,000, this means they would be fighting on $8- $18 of their monthly budget. So, it's like a couple arguing over adding a data plan to their cell. This all seems like a game, and why are they advertising this as a complete government shutdown. That's absurd lol
