Were there other spin bowlers that bowls with a mixture of? ?

I would say Ajantha Mendis is the first of this type of bowler with a good array of deliveries which completely baffle the batsmen. He has got an excellent variation of pace as well. Although Shane Warne had a few variations, it wasnt to the same extent as Mendis.
