When will my facebook page be listed when people Google search my name?

I've created a Facebook page and tweaked all the privacy settings so that search engines can pick it up but still no listing with Google or any of the other search engines I've tried. Google has one or two other people with my same name listed in conjunction with their Facebook pages and, when you click on those listings, you're given the option, "This isn't the (John Doe) you're looking for?...search more listings." Clicking that link brings up a couple more links to Facebook pages belonging to people with my same name but not mine. Is there some sort of lag time to be expected between the time one creates a Facebook page and the time it turns up in the search engines? Any other reason why my Facebook page wouldn't be picked up? (There's only about 24 total Google "hits" when I search "(my name)", Facebook) I would ask Facebook these questions if I could find a route by which one can email or speak with an actual person....
