Questions about Ft. Benning Basic and Cav Scout AIT?

I enlisted about a year ago and am about to head to my OSUT. I've heard about how Cav Scout training has been moved to Ft. Benning from Ft. Knox. I've heard all different stories of what you can and can't do at AIT. I was wondering if at my AIT if I will be able to, Use a Cell Phone, Use a Laptop, Get a Weekend P? I will need the Weekend P if I were to use a laptop, because I would have to buy one off base. I was also wondering what the day to day schedule at Cav Scout AIT is like, because I have heard it is tougher than most other MOS's and what new freedoms (if any) we would get after Basic.
