Hills and gigantic boulders on the moon???

I'm not a geologist, but aren't rocks formed because of the activity of the earth? For example: volcanoes, heat and pressure, and erosion of mountains causing sedimentary rocks. Hills, aren't they formed by wind? Hundreds and hundreds of years wind moving dust to a particular spot hence forming hills. These gigantic boulders on the moon, where did they come from? What activity caused minerals to collect and collect if it started as a little piece of rock when there is no air, no water movements on the moon? Or what mountain did it erode from since there are none on the moon? Hills, where is the wind to sway dust to collect and collect and the moisture to hold the dust together to form hills? Bottom line, the moon has no atmosphere. It's absolutley tranquil, quiet and serene with no activities whatsoever. Then why the hills and boulders?????
