Reno---fun things to do in Reno? outdoor activities, etc. any ideas?

There are so many fun things to do in and around Reno. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place and a short drive from Reno. Go on a scenic drive. It's lovely. There's also The National Automobile Museum which has many interesting vintage, clic, and antique cars on display. The Sierra Safari Zoo has many animals on exhibit and some good shows. Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are a nice place to take a stroll. Also, visit the Ponderosa Ranch in Virginia City. It's a lot of fun. Make sure to get a picture of yourself by the famous Reno Arch downtown.
