I've created a Facebook page and tweaked all the privacy settings so that search engines can pick it up but still no listing with Google or any of the other search engines I've tried. Google has one or two other people with my same name listed in conjunction with their Facebook pages and, when you click on those listings, you're given the option, "This isn't the (John Doe) you're looking for?...search more listings." Clicking that link brings up a couple more links to Facebook pages belonging to people with my same name but not mine. Is there some sort of lag time to be expected between the time one creates a Facebook page and the time it turns up in the search engines? Any other reason why my Facebook page wouldn't be picked up? I've heard all different stories of what you can and can't do at AIT. I was wondering if at my AIT if I will be able to, Use a Cell Phone, Use a Laptop, Get a Weekend P? I will need the Weekend P if I were to use a laptop, because I would have to buy one off base. I was also wondering what the day to day schedule at Cav Scout AIT is like, because I have heard it is tougher than most other MOS's and what new freedoms (if any) we would get after Basic.

The theme at the moment is kind of country-ish (NOT, my style) but the furniture in there right now is what has to be used until we can get it replaced. We have medium wood table / hutch ... the other furniture was painted a dark olive green-ish color and I've thrown in a few accents of green for accessories. The floor (ugggh) can't be replaced just don't have the money it is THE ugliest but it's linoleum with pink/taupe diamonds in each square. What is the best color of paint to use? I heard that it works well in conjunction with other anti-depressants. I have pretty bad depression and I'm on 40 mg. of Prozac. It doesn't seem to be helping much and I'm wondering if adding Ability might help. I do have Hep.C (my last blood tests showed that it's not bad)but doctors agree that the risk of taking the meds. is worth it since my depression is so debilitating. Why he throw up almost every day?

He,my boyfriend, throws up almost every day and this has been happening for a while. It really scares me. He's been to the doctor at least a dozen times. At first, they said he was throwing up from drainage cause he had what they thought was a severe sinus infection, but after taking medicine for 3 weeks they sent him to a ENT doc to find out it wasn't a sinus infection at all and his sinuses hadn't even fully developed on that side. They then proceeded to put him on acid reflux medicine he said it didn't help and he was still throwing up, but I'm not positive he was actually taking it. He is also tired ALL the time and has trouble sleeping. I think it might be caused from stress, because he has really bad anxiety but he won't tell the doctor cause he thinks all they will do is send him to a psychologist and he doesn't wanna do that. He's only 16 and he is on so much medication it scares me. They have him on ambien now and he still doesn't sleep. I don't know I think he is too young to be on all that medicine and his doctor can't figure out what is wrong but he refuses to see any other doctor and screams at me anytime I mention him going to another doctor. He misses almost every day of school cause he is so sick, but he gets a doctor excuse for all of them. Either way it scares me. Please help :(

There are so many fun things to do in and around Reno. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place and a short drive from Reno. Go on a scenic drive. It's lovely. There's also The National Automobile Museum which has many interesting vintage, clic, and antique cars on display. The Sierra Safari Zoo has many animals on exhibit and some good shows. Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are a nice place to take a stroll. Also, visit the Ponderosa Ranch in Virginia City. It's a lot of fun. Make sure to get a picture of yourself by the famous Reno Arch downtown.

Blended family question!!!?

Hello, I am a wife in a blended family. My 1, his 3, & our 2. (6 kids total). Well his exwife is still very much involved with their kids, but she does mean things like hit my 2 yr old, say rude comments about my teen (unbeknown to her), and calls CPS on my hubby. She is bitter and vindictive and acts out when she can't get her way with my hubby. Yesterday she took 3 girls to a bball event and I had to tell my daughter that she could not go with. None of the parents in our circle know what she's been doing and she shows up to functions all dolled up with drinks and treats, but they dont' know that she just called CPS on us two weeks ago, and hit my two year old a few months ago as well. How do I get my daugther to understand that I can't send her along with this wolf in sheeps clothing. And do I just keep my my shut at functions, or tell her off and remove her facade in front of all these other people who she's jocking for position with. Her kids live with us part-time, but she wants to put on the impression that they don't so she forces herself in the inner circles that we've established, she never pays for any fees, and she continues to mistreat us when she's out of sight of other parents. Is Linguistics a smart career choice is one does not want to learn Spanish?

I chose to get my degree in Linguistics. I have ociates but am going for bachelors now. I chose this not only cause it interests me but I feel I have a natural knack for learning languages and that it comes quick to me. I am very good with catching onto almost all languages, mostly european. But without sounding mean, I am a bit biased against Spanish and I do not care to learn it which is possibly why I fail to learn it due to my subconscious feelings. Ive tried to learn it, even with software. So my question is, will anywhere hire a translator/interpreter if they dont know spanish? I used to be abit of a mad party girl before we began r relationship, we have 2 children that have to live with him now because of my depression. I was in care/childrens home) my dad ually abused me when i was 5, i told my mum and she left him. We had to live in hostels & womans refuge. I feel so insecure and vunrable, our 2 children have to live with him now because my mental health is effecting them, im a brill mum when im doing good but i cant control my depression and uesd to end up hiding in my room and letting my ex do most things. Social services have been involved with me since i was a kid so i trusted them because they were there when my mum wasnt. I hid that i was still cutting and believe me i try so hard to resist it, sometimes i think back to something i read on wiki Self Harm is a distraction from emotional pain, i never thought that before. I feel like ive lost everything, i dont have anybody here as all my family live a flight away. I hate going outside, i am mentally drained if i have to go to an appointment, mental health dr and hospitals! i have cellulitus and have been getting blood thinng injections until i have a scan for blood clots. I just want someone that understands the pain im in, my ex is fed up of taken me to drs and hospital, he has his own life and the kids to look after. Personally, I think that dark skin is beautiful!!!!! I'm so in love with such a gorgeous skin color. I think people, including myself, are sometimes just afraid to say that. I am afraid that I will offend someone because I'm pointing out a difference. I myself am very fair. There is so much tension about skin color, and it is just silly. For example, I was at a work party and they were ping out books to the kids. My kids chose a book called, "Shades of Black." It's a book that explains the beauty of each shade of African-American skin. A co-worker leaned toward me and whispered, "That's for black kids." She looked terrified. Like people would be so mad at me. We took the book. Why should I tell my kids they can't read it? I don't get that. It's important to embrace all cultures. That way, we won't have all this craziness in our society. But at the same time, it is important for people to allow themselves to embrace the white culture as well, and not just ume we are all racists. If we all learn about each other, we would understand each other more.

The only times this guy has contacted me after meeting him and before our date was when he called the Monday after we met (we met on Friday) to confirm our date and then that Wednesday, twice, to tell me he was going to be late. wow, you're pretty smart for being 14! sounds like you have a good understanding of what's going on. the only thing i can think of is that you could personally write a letter or speak to the judge that is charge of all this. do it on your own instead of through your father or the lawyer. you can call the Clerk of Court and ask if the judge can see you. you'll have to figure out how you'll get there. if that is impossible, then write the letter. at least you will have piece of mind that the judge knows exactly how YOU, as a child in the matter, feels. it may help.

It's debatable as to whether or not the fruit will ripen before cold weather sets in. My suggestion would be to cut the fruit the day before the first forecasted frost or really cold weather and cut the fruit and sample it. Next year, try either planting the seeds indoors to get a jump on the growing season or set out seedlings from a nursery since melons need quite a long growing season.

We just bought a house, and to my horror, when I went to plant the azelea's I just purchased, I discovered a concrete slab about 8-10 inches under the dirt. It is the "brace" for the fireplace so I can't have it removed. I want to landscape the entire front of the house and the spot where the concrete is will be bare and ugly unless I can find something that will actually grow there without harm.

Flashbacks after bad ecstasy trip.?

Alright, I know mdma is bad... so please don't tell me not to do it and how its harmful. I'm never doing it again after the last episode I had. Anyway, I've only rolled 4 times in my life, 3 times in one week (last week). Last time I did it I took 2 ecstasy caps and went to the club. The whole night I didn't feel too great, I had alot of stress on my mind and felt like I never "blew up". My friends and I left the club and went to smoke some pot. We smoked a blunt and at the end of the blunt I felt like my memory span was 2 seconds, reality seemed to blend in, I was getting weird hallucinations and nothing felt real, sort of like I was dead. I freaked out hard. I have never had a panic attack before and I felt like my heart was about to explode. The rest of the night it kept coming in waves. I would feel good for a minute, then I would get slapped in the face with it again. Lights seemed too intensely bright to look at, it was the worst night of my life. It has been 7 days since I tripped and this whole past week I have felt like reality isn't reality. It felt like it was getting better, then yesterday I smoked pot and I got really intense flashbacks, almost like I was tripping again. Right now as I'm writing this nothing really feels the same, its hard to pinpoint what is different but something definitely is. I have alot of anxiety now and I never have before. Do you think that this will get better in time? Will the derealization feeling go away? It's the most horrible feeling I've ever experienced, it's like the trip comes back to me if I think about it or if I smoke pot (which I stopped doing as well). Please help.

I just had an answer deleted that in no way violated the yahoo answers conduct guidelines/etc. An ignorant male had asked for a good place to buy a mail order bride who would only do what he asked because all of the women where he lived were crazy control freak shopoholics (because of course women aren't allowed to have any sort of personality). Anyways, I wrote him a hinly honest answer saying that if he couldn't respect womens rights or stop regarding them as slaves, he should never get married and make a poor foreign woman to practically be a slave of his house. Question about dwarf hamsters?

I have owned dwarf hamsters and do right now. One of mine just died though... she was the runt :( Anyways, Dwarf Hamsters like unsalted seeds... tiny bits of apple. I would ask a professional though because I don`t know for sure. Any sugar or artificial food is bad. No salt either unless maybe a slat lick once in a while. I wouldn't because they get very nervous and NEED to stay in the same temperature. But again, ask a professional, they might have bags personally made for dwarf hamsters! NO! They need attention but, they have VERY sharp teeth so wash your hands before so they don`t smell like food! She needs attention. Mine recently starting getting a little evil but, that's because I stopped giving her a lot of attention. Hope this helps! Take care of her for her 2-3 years of life and have fun with it! :)
